Remains of couple drowned in Maldives to arrive on Saturday afternoon

DFA: Maldives’ Ministry of Tourism to assist in repatriation of drowned Filipino couple

MANILA, Philippines — The remains of the Filipino couple who drowned while on honeymoon in the Maldives are set to arrive in the country on Saturday afternoon.

In a text message, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the remains of Leomer Lagradilla and his wife Erica Joyce will be arrive at 3:30 p.m. onboard an Etihad flight.
