American facing child porn rap in US nabbed in Dagupan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines -—Police and Bureau of Immigration personnel arrested here, on Wednesday, an American charged in the the United States for possessing child pornographic materials.

Police said Brian Thomas Stickney, 46, did not resist arrest when agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Dagupan police and BI found him in a rented apartment in Barangay Tebeng here at 8 a.m.

Reports from the police and BI said Stickney, an undocumented alien, would also face charges for violating Philippine immigration law. Stickney has been on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s wanted list since 2010, BI records showed.

The American moved to Barangay Tebeng in 2012 and had been transferring from one province to another, police said. He lived in nearby La Union province before settling in this Pangasinan city.
