Philippine Embassy in Belgium temporarily closed after worker found COVID-19 positive

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Embassy in Belgium was shut down on Dec. 30 and will remain closed until Jan. 7 because one of its personnel tested positive for COVID-19.

“The embassy regrets to inform the public that one of its personnel has tested positive for COVID-19,” the embassy said in a post on its Facebook page on Thursday.

Regular working hours will resume on Jan. 10, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
