PH, Indonesian armies’ virtual training ‘fruitful’

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Army’s First Scout Ranger Regiment and the Indonesian Army’s Komando Pasukan Khusus has concluded a virtual engagement that ran from Nov. 8 to Nov. 22 as part of the Indonesia-Philippines training activity (TA DOLPHINE XIII-2021), which aims to enhance capability and interoperability of the two elite units in urban and jungle warfare special operations.

Army spokesperson Col. Xerxes Trinidad said the training resulted in a fruitful exchange of best practices in counterinsurgency, counterterrorism and military strategies.—Jeannette I. Andrade
