The Philippine Embassy in the United States on Thursday repatriated a second batch of 205 displaced overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families from the Caribbean.

The Embassy said the “airbridge” flight, carrying 165 OFWs and four infants, departed on July 28 from Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, capital of the Cayman Islands, a British territory.

The chartered British Airways flight made a stopover in Nassau, capital of the Bahamas, to fetch 36 OFWs from the Bahamas and nearby British Virgin Islands.

The flight arrived in Manila via London on Thursday. Last May 25, 295 OFWs were repatriated from Cayman Islands. —Jerome Aning
