MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-nine scam hub workers were repatriated to Indonesia on Saturday, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) announced.
In a statement, PAOCC said the workers were rescued in February from an alleged Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) facility in Pasay City.
The commission added that the foreigners’ Pogo bosses supposedly wanted to move them to another scam hub in Cambodia.

“Another 10 Indonesian nationals waiting for their repatriation documents remain inside the PAOCC Custodial Facility,” it said.
“PAOCC continues to locate the other Indonesian nationals who used to work in the said scam farm to facilitate their repatriation as well. We believe that there are few more who may have been tricked [into] staying in the country to work for guerrilla Pogo operations,” it added.
