Aquino leaves for Asean Summit in Bali

MANILA, Philippines — After a one day delay, President Benigno Aquino III left Thursday for Bali, Indonesia for the 19th Asean Summit.

Aquino left past 8 a.m. aboard a chartered flight frm the Villamor Airbase.

Present at the send-off were  Vice President Jejomar Binay, Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, Presidential Peace Process Adviser Teresita Deles and Communications Operations Office head Herminio Coloma Jr.

In his departure speech, President Aquino said issues on the migrant workers and human trafficking would be tackled at the Asean Summit.
