BREAK: Carpio inhibits from West PH Sea case
MANILA, Philippines– Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio inhibited from the petition calling for the government to protect marine resources in the West Philippine Sea.
With Carpio’s inhibition, he will no longer participate in this afternoon’s oral argument.
Carpio has informed his colleagues about his decision during Tuesday morning’s en banc (full court) session, in which they accepted, Supreme Court Information Chief and Spokesman Brian Keith Hosaka said in a press conference. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
