A Filipino-American’s recent encounter with a racist driver in Sunnyvale, California, has gone viral.

Paula Nuguid was cycling with her 9-year-old daughter when an unidentified driver began honking at them while they were about to make a left turn on Friday, June 30. According to Nuguid’s now-viral Facebook update, the driver also called her a “b*tch,” prompting her to speak to him.

“Why are you honking at me? Why are you calling me a b*tch? You’re in a two-ton vehicle and my daughter and I are on our bikes,” she said in the clip.

The confrontation escalated when both hurled racial insults at each other. Nuguid called the man a “white pr**k while he responded with  “f*cking Cambodian n****r.”

As of this writing, Nuguid’s video has been streamed 644,000 times.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra/rga
