MARAWI CITY – A stray bullet pierced the neck of a reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Corp. here at about 11 a.m. Thursday.
Adam Harvey was talking to his driver near the evacuation camp adjacent to the infirmary at the Lanao del Sur provincial capitol when hit.
He was rushed to the Amai Pakpak Medical Center, about a kilometer away from the capitol.
Harvey posted on Twitter to inform people that he is safe. “I’m okay. Bullet is still in my neck, but it missed everything important,” he said. CBB
