PNP starts security planning for 2017 Asean Summit in PH
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has started discussing the security plans for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit the country will host in 2017.
PNP chief Dir. Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa gathered all top police officials and regional directors at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Tuesday.
While in Vientiane, Laos last September, President Rodrigo Duterte accepted the country’s chairmanship of the Asean for next year.

The 2017 summit will have the theme “Partnering for Change, Engaging the World.”
