Aquino back from Paris talks, meeting with Pope
President Benigno Aquino III returned to the Philippines on Saturday noon from the historic climate talks in Paris and a visit in Rome and Vatican.
Aquino arrived around 1 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 2 aboard a Philippines Airlines plane.
Aquino took part in 21st Conference of Parties (COP21) in Paris, a global effort to fight climate change by forging a legally binding agreement that will aim to mitigate the effects of climate change, particularly the rise in global temperature.
