New dual citizens sworn in Sacramento and Milpitas
SACRAMENTO, California – Applicants for dual citizenship, passports and other documents turned up both here and in Milpitas, California, and were served by a team from the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted during successive one-day outreach missions on March 15 and 16.
The once a year outreach mission in Sacramento held at the Filipino American Veterans Memorial Hall, was again held in cooperation with various volunteer organizations led by Bayanihan of Sacramento, Philippine Fiesta Newspaper & Magazine, Filipino Community of Sacramento & Vicinity, Magellan Post 604, and Maharlika Lions Club.
The eight-member outreach team headed by Consul Reginald Bernabe extended various consular services such as, passport renewals, notarials and legalizations, civil registry, and dual citizenship.
The missions to Sacramento and Milpitas were the sixth and seventh of the planned 39 outreach missions by Philippine Consulate for this year to reach out and extend services to the community under its ten-state jurisdiction.
The Philippine Consulate General thanked its various partner community organizations and volunteers for their support and cooperation.
