US authorities found body of 3rd Filipino fatality in oil rig fire

Authorities in the United States (US) had recovered and positively identified the body of the missing Filipino oil rig worker, Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Cuisia said in a statement issued Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).

Injured Filipino oil worker dies after seeing wife, children

One of the four seriously injured Filipino oil workers in Louisiana died shortly after his wife and three children arrived from Manila to see him, Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Cuisia Jr. said.

Kin of victims in oil rig fire to go to US

Relatives of the victims in the oil rig fire off the Gulf of Mexico will go to the US for a visit, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.

Philippine Ambassador to the United States (US) Jose Cuisia Jr. has joined three other Filipino consular officers in attending to the needs of the Filipino contract workers who were injured when an oil platform caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico Friday.

PH officials in Louisiana to assist Filipinos in US oil rig fire

The Philippine embassy in Washington on Monday said Philippine officials had arrived in Louisiana to assist Filipinos who were wounded when an oil platform caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico Friday.
