Israel embassy moves to BGC
MANILA, Philippines—The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines has moved to a new location, relocating to what is fast becoming the metro’s new international hub at the Bonifacio Global City.
Israel Ambassador Menashe Bar-On will inaugurate on Wednesday the Embassy’s new office in Taguig City, with Philippine officials and members of the diplomatic corps as guests.
The Embassy started operations at its new location on March 25 and also moved consular services on March 28 at the 10th floor of Avecshares Center at 1132 University Parkway North in BGC, near the British and Japanese schools.
The mission had run operations at a decades old office at the Trafalgar Plaza in Salcedo Village, Makati City.
“It was mainly an administrative decision among other reasons. And our current address is now permanent,” said Bar-On in a statement sent to the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Other embassies operating at BGC include the missions of the United Kingdom and South Korea.
