PH Ambassador Cuisia to speak at San Francisco Commonwealth Club

SAN FRANCISCO — As the effects Philippines recovers from Typhoon Haiyan, a massive natural disaster with a heavy human toll and far-reaching economic, Ambassador Jose Cuisia Jr. will speak at the Commonwealth Club on Friday, Mar. 7, 11:30 a.m. at 595 Market St. 2nd Floor

Cuisia was named ambassador to the US by President Benigno S. Aquino III on Nov. 30, 2010. He will discuss economic growth and the challenges facing the Philippines as well as his country’s crucial relationship with the United States.

Previously, Cuisia served as Central Bank governor, chairman of the Monetary Board and chairman of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation Board.
