MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has denounced North Korea’s ballistic missile tests, saying it heightens tension in the region.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday urged North Korea or the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to abide by its obligations under the United Nations (UN).
