DFA: 61 countries now open to tourists

/ 05:00 AM November 03, 2020

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported that 61 countries were already open to tourists. The DFA said that 54 out of the 198 countries had already lifted inbound border restrictions on Filipino travelers. But it added that the countries allow entry subject to medical protocols such as [COVID-19] testing and quarantine requirements upon arrival as well as flight availability. Only seven  countries allow entry without any inbound restriction. These are Haiti, Mexico, Andorra, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Zambia. —Tina G. Santos
