Duterte meets with PM Najib to bolster PH-Malaysia ties
PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia—President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday afternoon met with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak in a bid to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations.
Duterte was given full military honors upon arriving at the Prime Minister’s Office known as the Perdana Square in Putrajaya around 5 p.m.
The President will have a bilateral meeting with Najib where security and counterterrorism issues are expected to be discussed.

Among Duterte’s delegation include Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, chief legal counsel Salvador Panelo and Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza.
The chief executive’s visit here is his eighth Asian trip since he assumed office on June 30. RAM
