US Embassy consular services open on Sept. 12 for Eid’l Adha
The United States Embassy in Manila will keep its consular services offices open on September 12, in observance of Eid’l Adha.
September 12, which marks Eid’l Adha or the 10th day in the month of Hajj or Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, was declared a holiday by President Rodrigo Duterte, in accordance to Republic Act 9849.

“Embassy Consular Services offices will remain open on Monday, September 12 to support previously-scheduled visa appointments,” the Embassy said on Friday.
However, all other offices affiliated with the Embassy, as well as the American Citizen Services Unit and the US Consular Agency in Cebu, will be closed on the said day. KS/RAM/rga
