Fil-Am nabbed for giving lifeguards unsolicited foot massages
SAN FRANCISCO – Police arrested a 19-year-old Filipino American in New Jersey, after he was accused of massaging lifeguards’ feet without permission at two local pools.
South Brunswick Police arrested Lawrence Malapitan of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, and charged him with harassment, as a result of two incidents this month.
On August 3, a teenage female lifeguard called police to the Nassau Square Clubhouse pool, complaining that a man sat down next to her and began massaging her feet. He claimed he was starting a foot massage business, she reported.
The lifeguard told him to stop and called the police, taking a photo of his vehicle with her cell phone as he drove away.
A few hours later, South Brunswick officers learned that police in Franklin, New Jersey, had arrested a man who was massaging lifeguards’ feet without permission at a pool there.
Article continues after this advertisementSouth Brunswick police then linked Malapitan to the Nassau Square incident. Malapitan was issued a complaint and released pending his first court appearance.
