Quarantine over for Liberia OFWs
CEBU CITY, Philippines—The two overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), who returned to the Philippines but failed to declare that their port of origin was an Ebola-stricken African country, had been cleared to go home after they had been put in quarantine.
The two OFWs were allowed to leave the quarantine area on Jan. 5.
Dr. Dino Caing, regional spokesman of the Department of Health in Central Visayas on Ebola prevention, said the two, both accountants, had been issued medical clearance.–Carmel Loise Matus, Inquirer Visayas
