Visa-free entry to Myanmar for PH passport holders
MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos, starting January 4, 2014, may enter and stay in Myanmar for up to 14 days without a visa, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Friday.
“The visa-free entry agreement is expected to boost tourism, trade and investment between the Philippines and Myanmar,” the agency said.
On December 5, during Myanmar President U Thein Sein’s state visit to the Philippines, the two countries signed an agreement on the visa exemption of Filipinos holding ordinary passports.
