MANILA, Philippines—The Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday arrested one of Korea’s most wanted persons hiding in the Philippines.
Cho Yang Eun, 63, was seized in Angeles, Pampanga, BI said without mentioning the date of his arrest.
He has been issued a warrant of arrest by the Seoul Central District Court on charges of fraud.
His passport was revoked in March 2012.
Eun is said to be the head of the Korean mafia, which has been extorting and threatening fellow Koreans.
