Police training center in Cebu City faces demolition
THE Philippine National Police Regional Training School in Central Visayas (PNP-RTS-7) may be demolished within the week.
Sheriff Antonio Bellones has to implement the writ of execution following a court ruling against the PNP-RTS.
“In the absence of a written court order directing the undersigned (Bellones) to refrain from implementing the writ of execution, the undersigned is left with no other recourse but to enforce the said writ,” Bellones said.
The PNP-RTS-7 was given until yesterday to voluntarily leave the place.
The lot where the PNP-RTS is constructed belongs to Mariano Godinez.
Aside from the PNP-RTS-7, the lot also houses 140 families and less than a hectare of Camp Lapu-Lapu.

Gaviola also forfeited to Godinez all improvements to and constructions in the lot.
