Clinton calls for faster solution to West Philippine Sea conflict

NUSA DUA – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Saturday for countries with rival claims to the West Philippine Sea (also known as South China Sea) to achieve a diplomatic solution more quickly.

“The United States encourages all parties to accelerate efforts to reach a full Code of Conduct in the South China Sea,” Clinton said in prepared remarks to an Asian security dialogue on the Indonesian island of Bali.
