US Embassy closed on National Heroes Day

MANILA, Philippines—The US Embassy in Manila and its affiliated offices will be closed on Monday in commemoration of the National Heroes Day, the embassy said in an announcement.

August 27 is a regular holiday during which the Philippines commemorates National Heroes Day.

“The embassy and its affiliated agencies will resume their regular services on Wednesday, August 28th,” it said.
