MANILA, Philippines—President Aquino left Monday afternoon for the United Kingdom and the United States for a working trip and a state visit, respectively.
Aquino left 1:30 p.m. on board a Philippine Airlines flight bound for London.
Aquino will be in The UK until June 6, after which he will fly to Washington, DC, to meet with US President Barack Obama.
He will also pass by Los Angeles, California, before flying home.
The President will be home in time for the Independence Day celebrations on June 12.
