EU ambassadors visit Baguio City

MANILA, Philippines — Seeking to explore opportunities for further collaboration with the Philippines, the ambassador of the European Union (EU) and the envoys of the EU Member States in the Philippines paid an official visit to Baguio City.

During their visit held from January 27 to 29, the ambassadors met with local government officials led by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, civil society representatives, academe, and the press.

In his speech during their visit, EU Ambassador Massimo Santoro thanked Baguio City for warmly welcoming them.

“We also like to acknowledge the strong commitment of the city government and partner institutions, and civil society organizations to good governance and to green inclusive growth,” he said.
