The foreigners were among 450 illegal Pogo workers apprehended during a massive operation in Parañaque City on Jan. 8. Commissioner Joel Viado said the agency was hastening the process in line with President Marcos order last year.

“We encourage those who are still here illegally to voluntarily surrender to authorities. Avoid the embarrassment and consequences of arrest. Cooperate now to facilitate your departure,” he said. —PNA
