Run Fur Life K-Pop Edition: A Fun Run for Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation
It’s going to be a day of fitness, fun, and furry friends at the 9th annual Run Fur Life K-Pop Edition, happening on September 29, 2024, at Robinsons Land’s Bridgetowne Destination Estate — a pet-friendly estate nestled across two mega cities- Quezon City and Pasig City. Bridgetowne, which embraces a live-work-play-inspire lifestyle, holds events that champion important social issues such as animal welfare, drawing visitors into and around the Bridgetowne neighborhood.
Fur parents unite for the rescued animals of Animal Kingdom Foundation housed in their Capas, Tarlac shelter. Proceeds from this run will fund the animals’ rehabilitation, shelter, and basic needs.
Robinsons Land’s longstanding partner Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF), has been a beacon of hope for animals rescued from cruelty, maltreatment, and the dog meat trade. As a non-profit organization, AKF leads rescue and rehabilitation efforts, working to end the inhumane treatment of animals in the Philippines. Since 2002, AKF has fought to stop the illegal dog meat trade, conducting rescue missions and providing shelter and care for rescued dogs and cats. Their Capas, Tarlac shelter is home to over 400 animals awaiting rehabilitation and adoption into loving homes.
Bridgetowne Destination Estates has been the proud host of the Run Fur Life fun run for three consecutive years, driving its growing success. In the past years, the event has attracted thousands of animal lovers, and this year’s edition, with a special K-Pop theme, promises even greater excitement. With its beautiful and peaceful ambiance, wide and open greeneries, Bridgetowne Destination Estates is perfectly suitable for a motivating fun run with pets.
Pet owners were all geared up during last year’s Run Fur Life event at Bridgetowne Destination Estate.
Participants can choose from three race categories: 1K, 3K, or 5K fun runs. Dogs of all sizes and breeds, whether purebred or aspin, are welcome to join. You can enjoy the vibrant, K-Pop-inspired atmosphere as you run alongside your furbabies. For the 1K and 3K races, you can run as a duo with your dog. Don’t have a dog? No problem! You can still join the 1K, 3K, or 5K races solo.
But that’s not all! In addition to the races, Run Fur Life K-Pop Edition will feature a host of exciting activities and attractions for everyone. Zumba dancercise sessions will get you and your dogs moving before or after the race and a lively bazaar will showcase pet products, local crafts, face painting, photo booths and K-Pop-themed merchandise. Food booths will offer a variety of treats and snacks for humans and pets. At the same time, interactive mini-games will allow participants to win exciting prizes for themselves and their furry companions.

More than the fun K-Pop theme, we are definitely excited for this year’s Run Fur Life because the run routes will be more enjoyable with exciting developments happening inside Bridgetowne,” Animal Kingdom Foundation Program Director Atty. Heidi M. Caguioa. “The lush greeneries are perfect for furbabies too,” she adds.
The 20-storey public art installation Victor, the majestic 200-meter bridge by the late National Artist Franciso “Bobby” Manosa, and the newly opened luxury mall Opus are just some of the sites participants can take delight in.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to AKF’s rescue and rehabilitation programs. Profits and sponsorships for this event will allow AKF to continue providing life-saving veterinary care, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts for animals rescued from cruelty and neglect.
