Cassandra Ong cited for contempt again for refusing to answer at hearing
MANILA, Philippines — Whirlwind Corporation stakeholder Katherine Cassandra Ong has been cited for contempt again by the House of Representatives quad-committee, as she refused to answer lawmakers’ questions directly.
It was Abang Lingkod party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano who moved again to cite Ong for contempt during the hearing on Thursday.
Ong will now be detained at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City.
Ong faced the panel again, but there were questions that she refused to answer, like aspects related to her educational attainment.
