MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday said it will turn over dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo to the Senate sergeant-at-arms upon her expected return to the country.
PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said this is due to the existing warrant of arrest issued by the Senate against the former mayor, whose real identity is Guo Hua Ping.
“The PNP has the intention to at least turn over the custody of Alice Guo to the Senate sergeant-at-arms,” Fajardo said in a briefing in Camp Crame.
