Importante na siya mismo ang managot dito sa ating bansa,” the senator said in a statement.

The Senate has ordered Guo’s arrest for her repeated failure to face the committee on women’s investigation into her alleged ties to Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos) in her town.
(She must also disclose the identities of her accomplices in the criminal activities in Bamban and those helping her within the government. We want the exact names so that cases can also be filed against them.)
According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Guo was arrested at 11;58 pm on Tuesday in Tangerang City, Jakarta, Indonesia.
She is currently in the custody of the Indonesian Police at Jatanras Mabes Polri, the DOJ added, citing information from Indonesian immigration.
It was just last month when Shiela Guo, who was earlier identified as the dismissed mayor’s sister, was arrested in Indonesia, along with the latter’s alleged business partner, Cassandra Ong.
Shiela and Ong are currently detained respectively in the Senate and in the House of Representatives, which are separately conducting investigations into their alleged links to Pogos.
