The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said the two Filipinos who were injured remain in the hospital for treatment as of Thursday.

One of them is an elderly Filipino woman who is a permanent resident of Hong Kong. She was treated for smoke inhalation and due to her age, doctors decided to keep her in the hospital to monitor her condition, said the DMW.

The other is a Filipino man who recently acquired permanent resident status but remains a member of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
