MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said that it has raised Crisis Alert Level 3 in Lebanon due to the Israel-Hamas war.
DFA Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega made the confirmation in a text message to INQUIRER.net on Saturday.
Under Alert Level 3, voluntary repatriation measures for Filipinos are present.
De Vega said that the Philippine Embassy in Lebanon is advising Filipinos to consider leaving the country.
Repatriation program measures of the DFA are also in place, de Vega added.
As of Saturday, four Filipinos have died in the ongoing war, according to the DFA.
