“The President assured Amb. Fluss that the Philippines will always stand with Israel in this war against the inhuman terrorist attacks by Hamas,” the PCO said.

During their discussion, Marcos also expressed his concern for the three Filipinos that remain unaccounted for in Israel, but the Ambassador assured the President that Israel is doing all it can to ensure the safety of the missing Filipinos.

The Philippine government also thanked Israel and the Israeli Defence Forces  for rescuing over 20 Filipinos and bringing them to safety.

Earlier, Marcos lamented the two confirmed deaths of Filipino nationals in the Israel-Hamas conflict, condemning the “terror and violence” that resulted in the killings of civilians.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel said that it is still verifying the reported death of a third Filipino.
