The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) has urged the US government to ensure that justice is served against those responsible for the killing of Filipino lawyer John Albert Laylo in Philadelphia.
“We strongly condemn this senseless act and hope that the US authorities are able to serve Attorney Laylo and provide the family he left behind justice and peace of mind by apprehending the perpetrators at the soonest time possible,” the IBP said in a statement on Thursday.
The Philadelphia Police Department has offered $20,000 reward for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects. —TINA G. SANTOS
