MANILA, Philippines — Some 22 Filipinos affected by the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine are waiting to be repatriated, said an official of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday.

According to DFA Undersecretary Sarah Lou Arriola, four Filipinos are now in the city of Lviv in Ukraine while five others are in Moldova. Thirteen others are in Warsaw, Poland.

Meanwhile, six Filipinos are already back in the Philippines.

The 13 Filipinos who arrived in Warsaw, Poland were welcomed by DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. himself, and were given food and water.

On Friday, the DFA urged Filipinos in Ukraine to reach out to the Philippine embassy so they can be accounted for and be given assistance.

The DFA earlier said 181 Filipinos in Ukraine were accounted for but government records show there are at least 380 Filipino workers in Ukraine.
