Duterte accepts credentials of 4 new ambassadors

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday received the credentials of four new envoys to the Philippines.

The credentials acceptance ceremony of the Ambassadors to the Philippines was held at the Malacañang Palace.

The following are the envoys who presented their credentials to the chief executive:

-Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Philippines Folakemi Ibidunni Akinleye

-Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Borhan Uddin

-Ireland’s Ambassador to the Philippines William Carlos

-Ambassador of Romania to the Philippines Raduta Dana Matache

In receiving their credentials, Duterte looked forward to strengthened cooperation between the Philippines and the foreign nation of their diplomatic assignment.
