Two attempts to evacuate around 90 Filipinos from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan via New Delhi and Islamabad, failed on Wednesday night due to the cancellation of all commercial flights in Kabul, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Thursday.

However, the DFA said some Filipinos were able to leave through the help of their foreign employers.
