COVID-19 kills another Filipino abroad as cases reach 10,867 — DFA
MANILA, Philippines — The total number of Filipinos abroad who were stricken by COVID-19 has reached 10,867, latest data from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) showed on Saturday.
In a tweet, the foreign affairs department reported that three additional Filipinos living overseas had been infected with the coronavirus disease.
Of the total number of COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, 3,147 are active cases.
Meanwhile, DFA also said one more Filipino living abroad perished due to the respiratory disease.
This brings the total number of fatalities among Filipinos in other nations to 801.
The total sum of COVID-19 recoveries remained at 6,919 after the DFA recorded zero survivors of the disease.
