No new COVID-19 deaths among Filipinos abroad — DFA
MANILA, Philippines—There are no new deaths related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among Filipinos abroad according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Saturday.
There were, however, five new confirmed cases and one new recovery case across Asia and the Pacific.
The mortality rate on Filipinos afflicted with COVID-19 abroad is now at 7.52 percent while the recovery rate is 63.99%.
A total of 10,549 Filipinos living abroad have contracted the disease with 3,006 undergoing treatment while 6,750 have recovered. The DFA meanwhile has recorded 793 deaths across 79 countries.
