Filipina’s stolen teddy bear with late mom’s voice in it found
MANILA, Philippines — The stolen teddy bear of a Filipina in Canada that contains a voice recording of her late mother — which drew headlines after Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds offered $5,000 for anyone who can find it — has been found.
According to Mara Soriano, a Filipino based in Vancouver, Canada, the stuffed toy was returned to her by two individuals, with the teddy bear still intact and the voice box safe.

The stuffed toy attracted attention after the Deadpool star retweeted requests for Soriano’s bear to be returned, as it contains the voice of her mother who died from cancer in 2019.
Reynolds said he would give the money to anyone who would return the bear to Mara.
“Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home,” Reynolds said in a tweet last Sunday.

On Tuesday, Mara posted the footage of the thief, who stole her bag which had the teddy bear in it, while she and her fiancee were busy preparing for their move to another apartment.
