MANILA, Philippines — Two hundred sixty two overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Dubai, are on their way back to their home provinces after testing negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The OFWs  arrived at the Clark International Airport (CIA) in Pampanga last Friday, and got their test results after 48 hours

“Following the receipt of their certificates from the Bureau of Quarantine, the passengers are now on their way home,” the CIA said in a post on Facebook on Monday.

CIA said the samples of the OFWs were processed at the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital, the accredited COVID-19 testing center in Pampanga.

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Tourism, Department of the Interior and Local Government and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board have mobilized teams to help transport the OFWs to their home provinces.
