A Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight from the Caribbean island-country of Barbados arrived at Clark International Airport in Pampanga on Saturday, carrying 345 Filipino seafarers. PAL flight PR-8117 landed at Clark around 11:34 a.m. with the repatriated overseas Filipino workers employed by the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said. “This is PAL’s third repatriation mission to and from Barbados, but the first to make a historic landing in Clark. Each journey is a homecoming for our country’s modern day heroes. It is a privilege to bring our countrymen home,” added PAL senior vice president Dexter Lee. —Jerome Aning
