City Government of Marikina taps Bayad Center to provide convenience for Marikeños

The City Government of Marikina recently sealed an agreement with the country’s payment experts, CIS Bayad Center, Inc., to provide utmost convenience to Marikeños in paying their business permit fees, real property taxes, government contributions and more.

“(By) working together with the bills payment authority in providing innovative and more convenient payment channels to our citizens, we’ll be able to help entrepreneurs manage their businesses better, and residents in settling their real property taxes more conveniently.” Mayor Marcy Teodoro said.

Through Bayad Center’s robust payment solutions, the City Government of Marikina will be able to enhance its public service to Marikina City residents by providing local government services and various bills payment services, which will be offered soon thru the Smart City App and Payment Machines.

Bayad Center President and CEO, Manuel L. Tuason explains, “Together with the City Government of Marikina, we’ll be able to offer not only Bayad Center’s bills payment but also its wide array of services. Marikina City residents will soon have the option of paying their business permit, real property tax and more, with payment machines to be located inside the City Hall of Marikina and several barangay halls. To be part of Marikina’s initiative on being a smart city, is in fact a breakthrough for Bayad Center, we are honored to be a part of this milestone.”
