MANILA, Philippines — The US Embassy in Manila will be closed on Monday, October 14, in observance of Columbus Day.
In an advisory on Thursday, the embassy said its office along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City and affiliated offices will be closed.
The embassy and affiliated offices will resume their regular services on Tuesday, October 15.
Columbus Day is a national holiday in the US, which officially celebrates the anniversary of Italian explorer Christopher Columbus’ arrival in the Americas on October 12, 1492.
