2 pass special certified public accountant licensure exam in the Middle East

MANILA, Philippines — Only two of the 164 examinees passed the special professional licensure examination for certified public accountants in the Middle East, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday.

The PRC said Edison Menicable Alvarez and Francis Miguel Del Rosario Sales passed the special licensure exam.

The exam was given in several areas in the Middle East including Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Manama in Bahrain; Doha in Qatar; and Al Ahmadi in Kuwait last August 2019.

The PRC said successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.  /muf
