UP, DLSU in 2019 Asia-Pacific university rankings

MANILA, Philippines — Two Philippine universities were included in the Asia-Pacific University Rankings 2019 released by the London-based Times Higher Education (THE).

In 2018, only the University of the Philippines (UP) earned a spot in the ranking, but this year, De La Salle University (DLSU) also made it to the list.

DLSU entered in the 201-259 bracket while UP improved its ranking from 151-160 in 2018 to 101-110 in 2019.

China-based Tsinghua University topped the university ranking while the National University of Singapore ranked second.

THE’s ranking analyzed universities in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. The overall ranking showed more than 300 universities from 13 different nations. /ee
